IFFP - 1st INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF PATMOS
This summer, from July 19th to July 25th, we are organizing a film festival in the beautiful island of Patmos. The vision of the 1st International Film Festival of Patmos is to offer a unique opportunity to celebrate cinematic creations of high aesthetic, artistic, cultural and educational standards. By bringing together established and emerging international and greek filmmakers, entertainment industry luminaries and the Patmian community, an exciting forum for the exchange of ideas will be created. This year’s program will include film screenings of feature films, short films, documentaries and animation, seminars, master-classes, presentations, educational and recreational programs and events. The aim for the following years is to ensure that the structure of the festival keeps evolving.

Ageanscapes Art
Babis Tsoutsas: Director
Born and raised in Athens. He studied Business Administration at Deree College, and he continued with Film Directing in Prague Czech Republic(P.C.F.E. Film School) and Photography in Athens (Platon Rivelis seminars). He has collaborated with important production companies in Athens, as a director for TVCs, and since 2005 he has established with Anna Wenneker the production company, Aegeanscapes, for the creation of documentaries, short films, Tv-shows, commercials and Feature films.
Anna Wenneker: Producer
Born and raised in London. She completed her bachelor in Philosphy and Religion at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and her Masters in Shipping Trade and Finance at City University. After working in the shipping industry she turned her interests towards the film industry and in particular the production part. She studied photography in Athens(Platon Rivellis and Focus) and Prague (Famu) and from 2005 she established with Babis Tsoutsas, the production and events company Aegeanscapes. She has worked as a photographer, writer and producer in short films, documentaries and TV-commercials.
Anna Smaragdi: Associate Producer
Born and raised in Athens. With a passion for the creative, she has studied 'Art of Theater' at the University of Patra, while getting a Diploma in design, painting and history of art from the workshop of the painter Alessandro De Martino. Since graduating she has been working in the field of production: films, tv series, advertising and photo shootings. She has participated in many awarded projects. An enthusiasm for travelling has also taken her across the globe.
Rodrigo Palazzo Pergola: Assistant Director
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 1978 and since 1999 lived in Hawai'i, Los Angeles and Oxford-England where he completed Film studies at OFVM Oxford Film & Video Makers. Has worked in sports production for olympic and pan-american games and also production of music video clips. Now working as assistant director on corporate videos and TV commercials.
Manos Vitsaksakis: Production Manager
Was born in 1981 in Athens. Lives in Varkiza the past 2 years. Has studied Vehicle Engineering in Thessaloniki from 1999 to 2004. Since he came back to Athens he has been attending acrobatic and dance classes. He works in the theatre as a performer, all purpose technician, rigger and production manager. He also undertakes along with Camilo Bentancor special effects needs for live performances or shootings.
Giorgios Karvelas: DOP
Born in Athens. Graduate of the “Stavrakos Cinema and Television School”, He has been working since 2004 as a camera operator, and Director Of Photography in Films, advertising, corporate videos and music video clips.
