How To Get To Patmos
Getting to Patmos is not difficult but can be considered time consuming; most people however consider this as a part of the Patmos experience. We generally advise flying into Athens airport in time to catch the ferry boat leaving from the port of Piraeus at 23.30 on Saturday night for arrival in Patmos on Sunday morning. We recommend getting a cabin so that you can get a good nights sleep and wake up refreshed the next day.
Alternatively you can fly from Athens to one of the nearby islands of Samos or Kos and then catch the hydrofoil to Patmos. This is the quickest way but is has small time intervals between each transit and the hydrofoils are weather dependent. Before making any travel arrangements we can advise you in detail on any issue
How To Get To Paros
Getting to Paros is easy. It can be reached by plane from Athens, a 35-minute journey with two/three flights a day, and by boat from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina, where there is a daily connection with more than 6 boats, some of which are high speed making the journey 2-3 hours long.
Our holidays exclude flights and boat tickets, however we work closely with Zenith Travel, a long established, licensed and bonded travel agency with whom we could help you plan your journey and book all your tickets upon request. We can also arrange hotels and transportation in Athens.
We will be waiting to pick you up upon arrival to take you to the hotel.
Both islands have medical facilities and well-stocked pharmacies, internet cafes, helicopter facilities for emergencies, numerous sports clubs and water sport activities, and shops where you can purchase anything that you may need or have forgotten.
